One Day To The Next
A recreation of the artist’s bedroom was assembled and installed in the exhibition space. All of the objects and walls were painted white with two trompe l’oeil texts painted across them. The texts oppose one another but also can be read in a cyclical manner. They express common but powerful moments of change in mood and the perception of the world around us. In one instant life may take us soaring to new heights filled with triumph, love, and happiness then without warning it will drop us to gut-wrenching depths of anguish, frustration, loss, and fear. Often this is something internal, something invisible. The physical environment remains the same while immense internal changes take place.
